OKAY - so we've lost DAVE.
OF COURSE.

He was such a good point scorer. Does that imply that the louder the contestant, the more the points, and the more likely they are to be voted out? Maybe. Denise hasn't been getting that much air time - so few points. But, probably won't be voted out... ANYWAY - We lost Dave. So, who to pick? A high scorer from the red team?

Or, add someone from the yellow team for points no matter which team wins?

This is kind of a problem, as it seems as though people didn't score so much in week 4. I am looking at their points, and no one seems to be a good earner to me.

Of course, I realize that it is all dependent on who gets shown on tv. The less players available, they will have to start showing some more of these people.

After a lot of deliberation, I have selected Frosti to replace Dave.

He said the tribe name - which earned me 40.
He slept away from the tribe, twice but I did not
get credit for those 80 points, because I assigned Dave to
"say the tribe's name"

So, this week, Dave earned me 20 points this week.

Aaron

So, Aaron earned me 125 points this week!!

Geese, if it weren't for Aaron, we'd be having another below 100 week.

Survivor China Fantasy Player Selections Week 4

So.... now I have to select someone to replace Leslie because she was voted off.

This was a fairly difficult choice. I looked up the points earned by each player. There are a few players with higher points that I don't already have on my team. The problem is, they received most of their points in the first or second week. ..... HUM..... so, does that mean that they are done for awhile?

They only receive points if something they say/do makes the show... so, sounds like it's all up to CBS editing.

There were a few higher scoring players from each tribe available to select. Hum... I already have 2 players from Fei Long (James & Aaron) and one player from Zhan Hu (Dave)

If I select another player from Zhan Hu, then I may earn points from two players no matter who wins.... (unless they mix up the tribes this week)

Although that sounds like a good plan,.... after watching episode 1503, everyone seemed to be kicking ass except for Courtney. Everyone, even the smaller, thinner, women, seemed to be able to chop down the ropes.

I really think that if Courtney was used for the reward challenge, instead of the immunity challenge, then tribe Fei Long would have won immunity for the third week in a row. They are strong, and work fairly well together. They even patiently helped talked Courtney through "sawing" the ropes.. etc.

I'm going to bank on Fei Long to win this week, hoping that they have learned their lesson and won't give Courtney any important physical tasks to complete.

So, I need to pick a higher-scoring player from Fei Long.

I earned 65 points from Dave this week. I assigned Dave to
"say the tribe name" and not "get naked" so I won the 40
points for him saying the tribe name once. - and I don't get the points for nakedness.

(darn it - he said it 4 times last week!! -
when he wasn't my player)

Leslie was not part of the challenge, and got voted off,
so that cost me 32 points.

She said the tribe name - which earned me 40.
She slept away from the tribe, but I did not
earn those 40 points, because I assigned Leslie to
"say the tribe's name"

So, this week, Leslie earned me 8 points.

Aaron & James

Aaron didn't earn me ANY points this week at all !!!
James didn't earn me ANY points this week at all !!!

That just goes to show that picking a team player that may get voted
off isn't necessarily the worst choice! Aaron is a good player,
and has earned a decent amount of points, but received NONE this week!
James has done so-so - last week his points were down to 35......

If I hadn't have traded for Dave instead of Courtney - my score would be truely scary. If I didn't have Dave, I would have only earned 8 points from outgoing Leslie.

So - I earned a total of 73 points this week. Dissappointing

So - people are still scoring a lot higher than me, even though I had all 4 players on the winning team both previous weeks.

All of my survivors won all contests, and I have since re-assigned "Leslie" to earn points with "Said tribe's name" -

I can't figure it out, how are people scoring so much more than me?

So - I started to view how much each player is earning.

So, I decided to select Dave.

He has a chance of getting voted out, due to
his behavior, but he said his tribe's name 4 times last week!

He is the leader - or thinks he is, which would give him more reasons to say the name of the tribe.

There was also discussion of Courtney maybe being sent home, so I decided to trade Courtney for DAVE.

Another good point: if James/Aaron & Leslie's tribe doesn't win the contests this week, I will have someone from the other tribe to add some points to my score.

SO......... Although some people scored higher than me in week 1, I was still fairly happy with my selections, so, I kept my team the same for week 2.

James, Leslie and Courtney and Aaron

Again, my players were the tribe to win immunity and the reward challenge.

For Episode 1502:

James:

James Wins Reward Challenge (group) 10

James only earned me 35 points because he did not say the tribe name.

Courtney:
Courtney Sits Out Challenge -12 Courtney Sprint Forward in the Game: Wins Immunity (group) 25 Courtney Wins Reward Challenge (group) 10 I lost 12 points for Courtney not participating.... so Courtney only earned me 23 points

Leslie:
Leslie Cries 12

Leslie cried, which would have given me 12 additional points, but then, she didn't participate in a challenge, so I lost 12 points.

Leslie only earned me 35 points because she did not say the tribe name.

Aaron:

Aaron Sprint Forward in the Game: Wins Immunity (group) 25
Aaron Wins Reward Challenge (group) 10

Aaron earned me 115 points because he said the name of the tribe twice.

So, my total points earned for week 2 were 208 points. This isn't as much as last week, but at least I'm still accumlating points.

For week 2, I decided to keep my team the same. I realize that my team isn't going to win every week, and that sometimes players are reassigned to other teams,... but I had a feeling that they could win again.

So, my week two (Episode 1502) consists of:

James , Courtney , Leslie , and Aaron.

Survivar China Fantasy League Week 1 Results

After watching the first Survivor Episode, I was pleased that all of my team choices were together on the same tribe: Fei Long (anybody else not liking these tribe names?)

Although - that could be a bad thing if the tribe looses, because then all of your fantasty players loose, and you may have a player voted out.

Anyway - Here's how my players scored for me the first week:

James:
Winning immunity group: 25 points
Winning Reward group: 10 points
Said tribe name: 40 points

( you have to assign tasks for your players to earn points
- I assigned "say tribe name" to James, so I did earn the 40 points. )

So - James earned me 75 points in Episode One. ( 1501 )

Courtney:
Winning immunity group: 25 points
Winning Reward group: 10 points
Said tribe name: 40 points

(I also assigned Courtney to "say tribe name")

So- Courtney also earned me 75 points in Episode One. ( 1501 )

Leslie:
Cries 12 points
Winning immunity group: 25 points
Winning Reward group: 10 points
(Said tribe name: 40 points) - I didn't earn these points.

( Leslie did say the tribe's name, but I had assigned her to
"Sing a Song" so I did NOT earn those 40 points. )

So- Leslie earned me 47 points in Episode One ( 1501 )

Aaron:

Said tribe name: 40 points

(I assigned Aaron to "say tribe's name" so I got this 40 points)

So- Aaron also earned me 75 points in Episode One. ( 1501 )

My total for the first week was 272 points. I thought that I had done pretty well, considering that ALL of my survivors won both competitions, and were on the same team,but I noticed on the survivor site that a lot of people had higher scores than me.

Opening Survivor China Fantasy Selections Week 1

My first team selections were James, Lesley, Aaron, and Courtney.

I read the information on each Survivor contestant - and selected these four.

It's been a couple weeks since I made those first selections........
I'm trying to recall the thought process behind selecting them.

James

I distintly remember selecting James because he is a grave digger. I figured the physical job would have helped him be prepared him for the game.

Funny, in episode 1503 James says he doesn't "eat" outdoors, and that his tribe has a "slow learning curve" . He goes on to say that he spent 4 hours in Barnes and Noble reading a survival guide - and because of that, compared to his tribe members, he feels like Crocodile Dundee. ( He makes no mention of his muscles or physical endurance - at least not that CBS gives air time to)

Courtney and Leslie, ( in that order )

I think that I choose Courtney and Leslie in the hopes that they may cry or sing a song (bonus points) and to balance my team with women. Sometimes a challenge has aspects where a lighter, thinner person has an advantage.

Three episodes into Survivor China and I haven't noticed any benefits to being thin.
Maybe it's easier to tolerate the hot weather, but they have no fat or calorie reserves for starving!

Aaron

Aaron was also selected for his employment. According to his CBS bio, he is currently a surfing instructor, and has certification from the American Council on Exercise. For social and leadership qualities, he is a bartender in Hawaii, manages a tapas restaurant, and has previously worked in home remodeling ( i.e. construction skills?) - So, anyway, he seemed like a good choice from an endurance and social standpoint.

I'm also relatively new to watching Survivor. I watched Survivor Fiji, and have seen occasional episodes from other seasons.
